Truth in Ferguson: Witnesses were too scared to tell the truth!

“Witness 109 claimed to have witnessed the shooting, stated that it was justified, and repeatedly refused to give formal statements to law enforcement for fear of reprisal should the Canfield Drive neighborhood find out that his account corroborated Wilson.”

Witness 113 “gave an account that generally corroborated Wilson, but only after she was confronted with statements she initially made in an effort to avoid neighborhood backlash...She explained to the FBI that ‘You’ve gotta live the life to know it,’ and stated that she feared offering an account contrary to the narrative reported by the media that Brown held his hands up in surrender.”

Now there’s a story for the media: A community in which honest people can’t tell the truth for fear of running afoul local thugs enforcing “the narrative reported by the media.”

-From the DOJ Report on the "Hands up, don't shoot" lie that destroyed the lives of Darren Wilson and his family

The passage above, taken from this Wall Street Journal article on the DOJ's report clearing Officer Wilson, but condemning the Ferguson police department for what the AG believes is the targeting of blacks for selective civil law enforcement.

The article will speak for itself on the latter, but as to the former:  How does Officer Wilson get his life back?!?  The lie was told by the accomplice of Michael Brown at the scene, repeated by lying "witnesses" in the community, perpetuated by members of congress, and subtly advanced by AG Holder and President Obama...and it cost him his job, his safety, and his freedom.

For those who were so concerned with JUSTICE in the Michael Brown shooting, where are you now?  How does Officer WILSON get justice?
